Adani Airports Holdings Limited (AAHL) has extended its DigiYatra rollout to Mangaluru International Airport and Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to digital transformation in the aviation sector. With this latest integration, all seven operational airports under AAHL now provide passengers with access to DigiYatra, the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s (MoCA) cutting-edge facial recognition-based travel system.
DigiYatra leverages biometric authentication to offer a completely paperless and streamlined airport experience. Passengers can pass through various checkpoints without physical documents, reducing wait times and enhancing both security and efficiency. The system not only minimizes the need for manual verification but also improves the overall passenger journey by making air travel smoother and more convenient.
The integration of DigiYatra across all AAHL-operated airports aligns with the company’s long-term vision to modernize air travel in India. By embracing next-generation technologies, AAHL is fostering a travel ecosystem that is efficient, eco-friendly, and highly secure.
DigiYatra not only eliminates physical documentation but also strengthens identity verification through biometric data, adding an extra layer of security. The initiative ensures faster check-ins and reduces congestion at key airport touchpoints, allowing passengers to move through airports with greater ease.
As more travelers opt for contactless solutions, AAHL’s strategic expansion of DigiYatra reflects its dedication to enhancing passenger experience and setting new benchmarks in aviation technology.
